CONCORDIA ACI CHAPTER

The American Concrete Institute (ACI) is a global authority dedicated to advancing concrete knowledge through research, certifications, standards, and education. With over 30,000 members worldwide, ACI connects students, professionals, and industry leaders to promote innovation and excellence in concrete design and construction. The ACI Québec and Eastern Ontario Chapter brings this mission closer to home by supporting local students and professionals through networking opportunities, technical events, competitions, and scholarships.

An ACI Student Chapter organizes activities that connect students to the concrete industry. This includes hosting info sessions, technical talks, and site visits, forming and coaching teams for ACI competitions, and coordinating networking events with professionals. The chapter also helps students apply for ACI scholarships, encourages participation in the annual ACI Concrete Convention, and promotes knowledge-sharing within the civil engineering community on campus.

We’re recruiting motivated students to help lead our new chapter. Being part of a student club is a chance to make new friends, create lasting memories, sharpen your skills, boost your CV, and connect with professionals in the field. Available positions:

  • Vice President
  • Internal Lead
  • External Lead
  • Competition Lead
  • Finance Lead
  • Sponsorship Lead
