Concordia’s first ever IceBox Challenge entry puts sustainable design to the test. Built using Passive House principles – airtightness, high insulation, and solar modeling. The structure aims to preserve one ton of ice for four weeks with no air conditioning. Installed in Montreal’s Old Port, it demonstrates the impact of energy-efficient construction in tackling climate challenges.
